The current Safentura consent mechanism stores this preference locally using browser storage.

The stored choice contains the consent version, whether necessary technologies are enabled, whether analytics is permitted and the time at which the choice was recorded.

Safentura intends to use analytics to understand how visitors use the website and to improve performance, usability and content.

Analytics is optional. Safentura does not load the Google Analytics script through its consent-controlled integration unless analytics consent has been given.

Rejecting analytics does not prevent access to the core website.

Where enabled with your consent, Safentura may use Google Analytics to generate aggregated information about website usage.

Google Analytics may process technical and usage information such as page visits, approximate location derived from network information, device and browser information, interaction data and technical identifiers.

Google may process information through infrastructure located in multiple countries. Additional information about Google's processing practices is available in Google's privacy documentation.

Safentura does not intentionally use Google Analytics to collect sensitive trail-monitoring location data from the mobile Safentura application through this website consent mechanism.

When analytics consent has been given, statistics may be used to understand how the Safentura website performs and which information is useful to visitors.

Analytics results may help us improve website navigation, identify technical problems and understand which public Safentura pages are being used.

Safentura does not currently use the website cookie-consent system to enable targeted advertising, advertising pixels or cross-site behavioural advertising.

Analytics consent does not mean that you consent to targeted advertising.

If Safentura introduces advertising or additional tracking categories in the future, this Cookie Policy and the consent interface will be updated before such optional technologies are activated where consent is legally required.

When no valid Safentura cookie preference has been stored, the website displays a cookie choice.

You may allow analytics or reject analytics.

Necessary technologies remain available regardless of the analytics choice because they are required for relevant website functionality.

Safentura does not treat continued browsing, scrolling or inactivity as consent to optional analytics.

You may change your analytics preference after your initial decision.

Safentura may provide a Cookie settings control in the website footer or another persistent location.

Withdrawing consent prevents the Safentura website from intentionally loading optional analytics on future page loads through the consent-controlled integration.

You can also clear cookies and website storage through your browser.

Most browsers allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies and local website storage.

Browser settings operate independently from Safentura's own consent controls.

Blocking all browser storage may affect account access, remembered preferences or other website functionality.

Where EU or Dutch law requires consent for optional browser technologies, Safentura relies on consent before activating the relevant analytics technology.

Strictly necessary technologies may be used where they are required to provide a service requested by the user or where the applicable legal framework otherwise permits their use without optional consent.

Where personal data is subsequently processed through an enabled analytics service, the applicable processing is also addressed in the Safentura Privacy Policy.

Some website functionality is provided through external infrastructure and service providers.

Depending on the functionality used, providers may process technical information necessary to deliver their service.

Optional third-party analytics is activated only according to the consent rules described in this Policy where consent is required.

Safentura keeps the cookie-consent choice in browser storage so the website can remember whether analytics was accepted or rejected.

The preference may remain until you clear browser storage, Safentura resets the consent version or the website intentionally asks for consent again because the categories or purposes have materially changed.

Retention periods for information processed by Google Analytics may be configured separately within the analytics service and are described through the applicable provider and Safentura privacy information.

Safentura may update this Cookie Policy when website technologies, analytics services, consent categories or legal requirements change.

If a material change requires a new consent decision, Safentura may invalidate the previously stored consent version and ask you to choose again.
