Legal information
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Safentura mobile application, website and connected services. Safentura combines community-generated trail information, GPX routes, route monitoring, proximity notifications and selected external or official data sources. By using Safentura, you acknowledge that outdoor conditions can change rapidly and that Safentura provides supplementary information only. Please read these Terms carefully before creating an account, uploading content, monitoring a route or purchasing Safentura Premium.
Service operator
Sphawn · Safentura
Safentura is operated by Sphawn, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands. Sphawn operates the Safentura website, mobile application and connected digital services.
Important safety notice
Safentura supports your judgment. It does not replace it.
Safentura is not an emergency service, rescue service, professional navigation system, official public-warning authority, park authority or substitute for information issued directly by competent authorities. Reports, routes, maps, satellite detections, notifications and external warnings may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or unavailable. The absence of a Safentura report or warning must never be interpreted as confirmation that a route or area is safe, open or free from hazards. Always follow official signs, closures, local laws, weather warnings and instructions from competent authorities.
Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply to the Safentura mobile application, safentura.com, connected account services and features made available under the Safentura name.
By creating an account, signing in, importing or publishing a route, submitting or confirming a report, activating route monitoring, purchasing Premium or otherwise using Safentura, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Safentura.
- These Terms form part of the agreement between you and Sphawn for use of Safentura.
- Additional terms may apply to specific future services where clearly presented before activation or purchase.
- Mandatory rights provided by applicable law cannot be waived by these Terms.
Definitions
“Safentura” means the mobile application, website and connected services operated by Sphawn.
“User” or “you” means the individual using Safentura. “We”, “us” or “our” means Sphawn as operator of Safentura.
“User Content” includes reports, confirmations, photographs, descriptions, GPX files, routes, profile content and other information submitted by users.
A “Community Report” is information submitted by a user regarding an observed condition on or near a route. A Community Report is not an official inspection or guaranteed statement of fact.
“Public Route” means a route deliberately shared with the Safentura community. “Private Route” means a route intended to remain accessible only to its owner and authorised Safentura personnel where necessary.
“Premium” means the paid Safentura Premium subscription available through supported purchase channels.
“External Data” means information originating from third-party, public, governmental, scientific or other external sources.
What Safentura provides
Safentura is a community-based outdoor safety and trail-information platform that allows users to create and view reports about conditions encountered on routes, confirm or update community reports, import and monitor GPX routes, receive proximity and informational notifications, and view selected information obtained from external or official data sources.
Safentura provides supplementary information only. Safentura does not certify or guarantee the safety, accessibility, legality, accuracy, passability or current condition of any route, trail, path, road, area or reported condition.
Features may depend on geographic coverage, device capability, permissions, operating-system behaviour, internet connectivity, third-party services and available data.
- Safentura is not a route-access authority.
- Safentura does not guarantee that every hazard will be reported.
- Safentura does not guarantee that every report displayed remains current.
- The absence of information is not evidence that no risk exists.
Eligibility and account use
You must be legally capable of accepting these Terms. Where applicable law requires consent from a parent or legal guardian, Safentura may only be used with that valid consent.
Safentura is not directed to children under 16 years of age for creation of an independent account.
You must provide accurate account information and must not impersonate another person, organisation or authority.
- One account is intended for the person who created it.
- You must not create accounts for fraudulent, abusive or manipulative purposes.
- You must not falsely present yourself as Safentura staff, an authority, emergency service or partner.
Account security and device limits
You are responsible for protecting access to your account and for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Safentura may limit the number of mobile devices that may remain active on the same account at the same time.
Under the current service structure, a Standard account may use one active mobile device at a time and a Premium account may use up to two active mobile devices at a time.
Logging out of the Safentura mobile application may release the active-device slot associated with that device.
- Do not share credentials in a way that compromises account security.
- Do not attempt to bypass device restrictions or technical access limits.
- Device limits may change in the future where reasonably necessary for the service or subscription structure.
- Web access does not necessarily count as an active mobile-device slot.
Community reports
Community Reports are created by users based on observations made at a particular place and time. They are not professional inspections, official warnings, safety certifications or statements issued by Safentura.
Safentura does not manually verify every Community Report before publication and cannot guarantee that any report remains correct after it is submitted.
A report may include information such as category, severity, passability, description, location, photograph, time of creation, confirmation status and responses indicating that the condition may have been resolved.
A missing Community Report never proves that a route, trail or area is clear, safe or accessible.
- Submit only genuine observations relevant to trail or route conditions.
- Do not present speculation, rumours or assumptions as confirmed facts.
- Do not deliberately report a false hazard.
- Do not intentionally place a report at a false location.
- Do not use Community Reports to identify, monitor or track individuals.
Report location and GPS accuracy
A report location may be determined using location information supplied by the user's device.
GPS and device-location information may be inaccurate due to terrain, vegetation, buildings, satellite visibility, atmospheric conditions, device hardware, software settings or other factors.
A report location is therefore an estimated location and must not be treated as a surveyed, topographic or legally precise geographic measurement.
- Do not rely on report coordinates as the sole method of locating a hazard.
- Assess the actual environment around you.
- Location accuracy may differ substantially between devices and conditions.
Duplicate report prevention
Safentura may use automated mechanisms to reduce duplicate reports. This may include checking for an active report of the same or a similar type within a defined geographic distance.
Where a possible duplicate is detected, Safentura may direct the user to the existing report instead of creating a new one.
Duplicate-detection mechanisms are intended to improve community information but cannot identify every duplicate or incorrect match.
Photographs and report evidence
Safentura may require or permit a photograph to provide evidence or context for a Community Report. The photograph may become visible to other users together with the report.
Safentura may resize, compress, remove metadata, crop, obscure, reject or otherwise technically process photographs where necessary for operation, security, privacy or moderation.
You are responsible for ensuring that photographs you submit are lawful, relevant and appropriate.
- Do not upload unrelated photographs.
- Do not intentionally use an old or unrelated photograph as evidence of a current condition.
- Do not stage, fabricate or materially alter evidence in a misleading way.
- Avoid identifiable faces, children, licence plates, private addresses, documents or unrelated personal information.
- Do not photograph where local law or rules prohibit photography.
- Do not put yourself or another person at risk merely to obtain a photograph.
Confirmations and resolved responses
Users may be able to confirm that a Community Report created by another user still appears to be relevant.
Users may also be able to indicate that a reported condition appears to have been resolved.
Safentura may require multiple independent responses before automatically changing the status of a report. The rules used for confirmations, resolved responses and report status may evolve as the service develops.
Confirmations and resolved responses are user observations. They are not official verification by Safentura or by a competent authority.
- You may not confirm your own report where the service prevents this.
- Do not coordinate multiple accounts to manipulate report status.
- Do not deliberately mark a genuine hazard as resolved when you know it remains present.
- Safentura may limit how frequently a user can respond to the same report.
Offline reports
Safentura may allow a user to prepare a Community Report while an internet connection is unavailable.
Report information and associated data may temporarily remain stored on the device and may be transmitted automatically when connectivity returns.
A report prepared offline is not considered submitted, published or available to other Safentura users until it has been successfully received by Safentura.
Temporary offline report data may expire or be removed after the applicable local-storage period. The current implementation may retain pending report data for up to approximately 24 hours.
- Never assume an offline report has warned other users.
- Urgent hazards should be reported directly to the competent authority where appropriate.
- Safentura does not guarantee successful later delivery of every offline report.
Report expiry and automated status changes
Community Reports are not intended to represent trail conditions permanently.
Safentura may automatically expire, archive, remove or change the status of reports based on report type, age, confirmations, resolved responses, moderation decisions or other defined service rules.
Different report categories may use different validity periods because some outdoor conditions change faster than others.
Automated expiry or status changes do not establish that the real-world condition has definitely disappeared.
Deletion of individual reports
Safentura may permit users to delete reports they created, including where a report was submitted accidentally, contains incorrect information or includes an incorrect photograph.
Deletion may remove the report, associated photograph and related service data, subject to technical backups, security records, legal requirements and limited records necessary to prevent abuse.
Report deletion must not be used to intentionally manipulate community information.
Moderation, enforcement and illegal content
Safentura may review, restrict, remove, preserve or investigate User Content where reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect users, enforce these Terms, prevent abuse or comply with law.
Safentura may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate accounts involved in serious or repeated misuse.
Moderation may include review of reports, photographs, routes, confirmations and account activity.
- False or fabricated safety reports may be removed.
- Spam, abusive, illegal, offensive, manipulative or irrelevant content may be removed.
- Content that creates an unjustified danger to others may be removed.
- Manipulation using multiple accounts may result in restrictions.
- Attempts to circumvent technical limits, moderation actions or Premium restrictions may result in account action.
- Illegal-content notices or challenges to moderation decisions may be sent to support@safentura.com.
GPX files and route imports
Safentura allows users to import routes using GPX files or other supported route data.
You are responsible for having the rights required to upload and use any GPX file or route information submitted to Safentura.
Safentura may simplify, process, divide into chunks, reduce, transform or otherwise technically adapt route data for storage, display, monitoring or performance.
Safentura does not guarantee that GPX data, elevation, coordinates, distance or route geometry supplied by a user or third party is accurate.
- Importing a route does not establish a legal right of access.
- Importing a route does not establish that a trail is currently open.
- Importing a route does not establish that a route is suitable for your physical ability, equipment or activity.
- Keep your own copy of important GPX files.
Public and private routes
A route may be stored as Public or Private where those options are available.
A Public Route is deliberately shared with the Safentura community and may be displayed, opened, followed or downloaded by other users where the relevant functionality is available.
A Private Route is intended to remain accessible only to its owner and authorised Safentura personnel where access is reasonably required for support, security, abuse investigation or legal compliance.
Neither Public nor Private status means that Safentura certifies the route.
- A route does not guarantee legal access.
- A route does not override private-property rights.
- A route does not override closures, permits, hunting restrictions, environmental restrictions or official instructions.
- A route does not guarantee passability, safety or current trail conditions.
Route limits
Safentura may apply route-storage limits according to the user's account plan.
Under the current structure, Safentura Standard supports up to 30 Public Routes and up to 5 Private Routes.
Safentura Premium currently permits unlimited Public Routes and unlimited Private Routes while the eligible Premium entitlement is active.
Safentura may reasonably adjust technical or commercial limits in the future, subject to applicable consumer law and the terms applicable to paid services.
Route monitoring and background location
Users may activate monitoring for a selected route. Route monitoring may use precise location to compare the user's position with the selected route, Community Reports, external warnings, the end of the route or other relevant geographic information.
Where permission is granted, location processing may continue while Safentura is running in the background.
Background functionality depends on the operating system, device manufacturer, battery optimisation, location permissions, GPS availability, connectivity and other technical conditions outside Safentura's complete control.
Safentura does not guarantee uninterrupted route monitoring on every device.
- Do not use Safentura as your only navigation method.
- Carry an appropriate backup navigation method where circumstances require it.
- Low battery, disabled permissions or operating-system restrictions may stop monitoring.
- You are responsible for checking whether monitoring is active.
Proximity alerts and approximate distances
Safentura may generate proximity notifications when a user monitoring a route approaches a relevant report or other geographic condition.
Certain proximity features may use a threshold of approximately 100 metres.
Any distance displayed or used by Safentura is an estimate derived from device location and available geographic data. It must not be interpreted as a surveyed or guaranteed distance to a hazard.
Notification timing may be affected by GPS accuracy, route geometry, background-processing restrictions, device performance or connectivity.
Notifications
Safentura may provide device notifications or in-app notifications relating to route monitoring, Community Reports, account activity, external warnings or Safentura service information.
A notification displayed by the device and an in-app notification stored within Safentura may be separate mechanisms.
Notifications may arrive late, may not arrive at all or may be blocked by operating-system settings, battery management, network conditions or other technical factors.
- Never rely on Safentura notifications as your only warning mechanism.
- The absence of a notification does not mean that no danger exists.
- You may be able to change notification permissions through Safentura or device settings.
Maps, navigation and geographic information
Safentura uses digital maps and geographic information to display routes, user positions, Community Reports and selected External Data.
Map information may originate from third-party providers and may contain errors, outdated geometry, missing paths or incorrect access information.
Safentura does not guarantee that every road, path, trail, access point, property boundary or geographic feature is represented accurately.
- Local signs and actual conditions take priority over the map.
- Do not enter private property merely because a route appears on the map.
- Do not cross barriers or official closures based on Safentura information.
- You are responsible for complying with local access rules.
External and official data sources
Safentura may retrieve, process, cache, simplify, reformat or display information originating from third-party, scientific, governmental, regional or other external sources.
Displaying External Data does not make Safentura the issuing authority for that information.
External Data may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, geographically limited, inaccurate or changed by the original source without notice.
Where Safentura information differs from information issued directly by a competent authority, the competent authority's information takes priority.
NASA FIRMS and satellite heat detections
Safentura may display satellite heat detections obtained from NASA FIRMS or related datasets.
A satellite heat detection is not equivalent to a confirmed ground fire and does not by itself establish the size, boundaries, severity, direction or accessibility impact of a fire.
Satellite detections may contain delays, false positives, missing detections, location uncertainty or other limitations.
Safentura must not be used as the sole source for determining whether an area affected by possible wildfire is safe.
- Follow official fire-service and authority instructions.
- Do not enter a potentially dangerous area to verify a Safentura detection.
- The absence of a FIRMS detection does not guarantee the absence of fire.
Weather and flood warnings
Safentura may display weather or flood warnings supplied by external or official data sources, including European or regional warning systems.
Warning geometries, times, categories, severity levels and descriptions may be processed for display within Safentura.
Safentura does not issue these warnings and cannot guarantee that every official warning is available, displayed immediately or represented without technical differences.
The absence of a weather or flood warning in Safentura does not establish that no risk exists.
- Consult competent weather and flood authorities where conditions may be dangerous.
- Official warning instructions always take priority.
- Conditions may change faster than digital warning data.
Hunting closures and restrictions
Safentura may display information concerning hunting closures, hunting restrictions or affected geographic areas where suitable data is available.
Coverage may be limited to particular regions, including parts of Wallonia or other supported areas.
Hunting information may be incomplete, delayed, changed or unavailable.
The absence of a hunting closure or hunting indication on the Safentura map does not establish that hunting is not taking place.
- Observe official signs and closures on location.
- Follow instructions from land managers, authorities and hunting organisers.
- Do not enter a restricted area solely because Safentura does not display a restriction.
Trail access, private property and local rules
Safentura does not grant any right to enter, cross or use land.
A Public Route, Private Route, Community Report, map line or other displayed feature does not override property rights, legal restrictions, permits, protected-area rules, temporary closures, hunting restrictions or instructions from competent authorities.
You are responsible for determining whether your activity is permitted at the relevant location and time.
- Do not cross barriers or locked gates without lawful permission.
- Do not enter private property without permission.
- Respect environmental and wildlife restrictions.
- Turn back when access is closed, unsafe, unclear or prohibited.
Outdoor risks and personal responsibility
Outdoor activities involve inherent risks including changing weather, terrain, traffic, wildlife, hunting, flooding, fire, falling objects, damaged infrastructure, reduced visibility, physical exhaustion, navigation errors and limited communications coverage.
You are responsible for deciding whether to begin, continue, modify or abandon an outdoor activity based on actual conditions and your own circumstances.
Safentura is intended to support your decision-making but cannot assess your physical condition, experience, equipment, preparation or the full real-world environment around you.
- Check weather and official warnings before departure.
- Use suitable equipment.
- Consider daylight, visibility and local conditions.
- Maintain sufficient battery where electronic navigation is required.
- Carry suitable water, clothing and emergency equipment where appropriate.
- Do not continue merely because Safentura does not display a warning.
Emergency situations
DO NOT USE SAFENTURA TO REQUEST EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE.
Creating a Community Report, confirming a report, marking a report resolved, starting route monitoring or receiving a Safentura notification does not contact police, ambulance, fire services, mountain rescue, park personnel or another emergency authority.
A report submitted to Safentura must never be assumed to have notified emergency responders.
If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the locally applicable emergency service directly.
Personal Route Heatmap
Eligible Premium users may have access to a Personal Route Heatmap based on route-monitoring activity recorded after the relevant Premium functionality becomes active.
The Heatmap is intended as a personal visual history of monitored route activity and is not an official navigation record, proof of presence, safety record or legally precise geographic record.
Access to the Heatmap requires an active eligible Premium entitlement.
When Premium expires, access to the Heatmap may be disabled even if historical Heatmap data remains stored in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Ownership of User Content
You retain ownership of original User Content you lawfully create and submit.
By submitting User Content, you confirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide that content to Safentura.
You grant Safentura a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, technically process, format, translate, moderate and display User Content to the extent required to operate, secure, develop and provide the service.
The licence does not transfer ownership of your original content to Safentura.
Licence for Public Routes and public contributions
By intentionally publishing a route as Public, you grant Safentura a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, technically process, display, distribute within the Safentura service and make the route available to other Safentura users.
Public community content may also be used in reasonable Safentura communications that explain, demonstrate or promote the community service, subject to applicable privacy and intellectual-property law.
For a Public Route already shared with the community, this licence may continue after account deletion where that route is retained as Safentura community content, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Acceptable use and prohibited conduct
You must use Safentura lawfully, responsibly and consistently with the purpose of improving outdoor trail awareness.
You may not interfere with the operation, security, integrity or fair use of the service.
- Do not submit deliberately false or fabricated hazards.
- Do not manipulate confirmations or resolved responses.
- Do not use multiple accounts to influence community status.
- Do not upload malicious software or exploit vulnerabilities.
- Do not attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data.
- Do not scrape, harvest or systematically extract Safentura data contrary to law or technical restrictions.
- Do not circumvent subscription, device or access restrictions.
- Do not use Safentura to stalk, identify, profile or harass another person.
- Do not submit unlawful, hateful, threatening, fraudulent or sexually exploitative content.
- Do not use Safentura to advertise unrelated products or services through Community Reports.
Points, ranks and digital achievements
Safentura may use points, ranks, badges, souvenirs or other digital achievements to recognise community participation.
Digital achievements have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for money, do not represent financial assets and do not create ownership rights outside the service.
Safentura may reasonably correct, recalculate, modify or remove achievements where they result from error, fraud, manipulation, abuse or changes to the gamification system.
Third-party services and infrastructure
Safentura depends on third-party technology and data providers for parts of the service.
These may include Google, Firebase, Google Play, RevenueCat, Expo, Vercel, map and geographic-data providers, NASA FIRMS, MeteoAlarm, regional authorities and other public-data providers.
Safentura does not control the permanent availability, performance, accuracy or policies of independent third-party services.
A third-party outage or change may temporarily reduce, interrupt or alter Safentura functionality.
Service availability and maintenance
Safentura is a digital service and may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, security incidents, software defects, network outages, cloud-provider failures, third-party-service failures or events outside our reasonable control.
Safentura does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, error-free performance or compatibility with every device.
Where applicable law provides mandatory remedies for a paid digital service, those rights remain unaffected.
- Keep your own copies of important GPX files.
- Do not treat Safentura as your only navigation system.
- Do not assume information remains available offline unless a feature expressly supports it.
Application updates and compatibility
Safentura may release updates to improve security, compatibility, performance, reliability, legal compliance or functionality.
Updates may add, modify or remove features where reasonably necessary.
Older versions of the application may eventually become unsupported or incompatible with current service infrastructure.
Safentura may require an update where continued use of an older version creates a security, compatibility or service-integrity problem.
- Keep the application reasonably up to date.
- Some features may require a newer application version.
- Material changes affecting paid digital services remain subject to mandatory consumer law.
Safentura intellectual property
The Safentura name, branding, logos, interface design, original software, website design, documentation and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Safentura for its intended purpose.
No ownership of Safentura intellectual property is transferred to you.
- Do not copy or commercially exploit Safentura branding without permission.
- Do not falsely imply official endorsement or partnership.
- Open-source, map or external-data components remain subject to their own licences and attribution requirements.
Account restriction and suspension
Safentura may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated Terms violations, fraud, security threats, manipulation, unlawful activity, abuse of the community system, legal obligations or material harm to users or the service.
Measures should be proportionate to the circumstances.
Where appropriate and legally required, Safentura may provide notice, reasons and an opportunity to challenge the decision.
Account deletion and retained community content
You may request deletion of your Safentura account through available account controls or another supported method.
Deleting an account permanently removes the personal Safentura account and personal account information, subject to limited retention required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling or technical backup rotation.
Private Routes associated with the account are deleted as part of the account-deletion process.
Community Reports created by the user may remain available after account deletion in anonymised form and will no longer identify the deleted Safentura account as the reporter.
Public Routes deliberately shared with the Safentura community may remain available after account deletion as Safentura community content.
Account deletion cannot normally be reversed after the deletion process has completed.
- Private Routes are removed.
- Public Routes may remain as community content.
- Community Reports may remain anonymously.
- Personal profile information is removed subject to applicable retention requirements.
- Detailed personal-data handling is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Liability, warranties and consumer rights
Safentura is provided with reasonable care, but community information, GPS data, route information, External Data, maps and notifications may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable or inaccurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sphawn is not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on inaccurate or outdated User Content, GPS inaccuracies, unavailable connectivity, third-party map errors, delayed External Data, failure to follow official restrictions, or use of Safentura outside its intended purpose.
Safentura does not assume responsibility for a user's decision to enter, remain in or continue through a route or area contrary to real-world conditions, official instructions or reasonable outdoor precautions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intent, fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other liability, guarantee, conformity right or consumer remedy that applicable law makes mandatory.
- Dutch and EU mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
- Safentura does not guarantee that community information is complete or current.
- Safentura does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Safentura does not guarantee that a route is safe or legal to use.
Responsibility for unlawful User Content
You remain responsible for User Content you unlawfully submit and for reasonably foreseeable harm directly caused by your intentional or unlawful conduct, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this section requires a consumer to indemnify Safentura beyond what is lawful under mandatory consumer law.
Safentura may seek appropriate remedies where deliberate fraud, malicious misuse or unlawful activity causes direct damage to the service or third parties.
Personal data and Privacy Policy
Use of Safentura may involve processing of account information, profile data, device identifiers, notification tokens, subscription status, report locations, route-monitoring locations, GPX data, photographs and other information described in the Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains the purposes, legal bases, retention periods, recipients, international transfers and privacy rights associated with this processing.
These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy.
Service communications
Safentura may send essential communications concerning account security, legal changes, subscription status, moderation, service operation or important functionality through email, in-app notifications or another appropriate account channel.
You are responsible for keeping relevant account contact information current.
Optional promotional communications may be subject to separate consent or opt-out controls where required.
Changes to these Terms
Safentura may update these Terms where reasonably necessary because of legal requirements, security needs, product changes, new features, changes to service providers or operational developments.
Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate manner and, where required by law, sufficiently in advance.
Where a change materially affects an ongoing paid digital service, Safentura will respect applicable mandatory consumer rights.
If you do not agree with revised Terms, you may stop using Safentura and, where applicable, exercise any legal termination rights.
Severability, waiver and transfer
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Failure by Safentura to enforce a provision on one occasion does not permanently waive the right to enforce it later.
You may not transfer your Safentura account or contractual rights to another person without permission where such transfer would compromise account security or service integrity.
Sphawn may lawfully transfer the Safentura business or service as part of a reorganisation, sale or transfer, provided mandatory user and consumer rights are not reduced.
Language versions
Safentura may provide these Terms in English, Dutch, German and French.
The translations are intended to communicate the same legal meaning.
If a translation contains an unintended inconsistency, the English version may be used as the primary interpretative reference, except where mandatory law requires interpretation in another manner or provides stronger rights to the user.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Dutch law.
If you are a consumer resident in another country, you retain any mandatory consumer protections granted by the law of your country of residence.
Disputes may be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer's mandatory right to use another competent forum where the law provides such a right.
We encourage users to contact Safentura first so that questions or complaints can be assessed directly and fairly.
- Questions and complaints may be sent to support@safentura.com.
- Mandatory EU and national consumer rights remain applicable.
- These Terms do not prevent you from contacting a competent consumer-protection or regulatory authority.
